1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (“Policy”) describes how camp·it (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://campit.ai/ and any related pages or services (collectively, the “Site”).

By using the Site you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We do not collect payment information. Any registration or payment processing for camp activities is handled directly by the camp operator or their registration platform.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

camp·it is a platform for parents and guardians to find activities for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All account creation and data entry must be performed by adults (18 years of age or older).

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info@campit.ai and we will delete it promptly.

camp·it complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506.

6. State Privacy Rights

Washington State (My Health MY Data Act / Washington Privacy Act). Washington State residents have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data held by camp·it. You may also request a list of the categories of personal data we hold about you and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal data (we do neither, but you may request confirmation). California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Other states. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other states with applicable privacy laws may submit data access or deletion requests to info@campit.ai.

We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by applicable law.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

camp·it uses only functional cookies and browser localStorage. These are used solely to:

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or cross-site tracking. You can delete these at any time in your browser settings without losing access to the Site. Note that clearing localStorage will erase your saved activity list.

8. Third-Party Data Collection and Advertising

camp·it is a participant in the Active Affiliate Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by advertising and linking to Active.com.

Some activity listings on camp·it are sourced from or linked to ACTIVE Network and its partners (including activecommunities.com, Active.com, and related properties). When this content appears on our Site, or when you click through to an ACTIVE registration page:

camp·it does not receive, store, or have access to any personal information collected by ACTIVE Network or its partners through this process. ACTIVE Network’s data practices are governed exclusively by their own Privacy Policy.

Other third-party service providers whose code runs on this Site include Google Analytics (aggregate analytics only) and Google Fonts (font delivery). These providers have their own privacy policies governing data collection.

9. Off-Site Links and ACTIVE Network Properties

camp·it contains links to third-party websites and registration platforms that we do not own or control, including but not limited to:

When you click a registration link and leave campit.ai, you are subject to the privacy policy and terms of the destination site — not this Policy. For registrations processed through any ACTIVE Network property (Active.com, ActiveNet, activecommunities.com), ACTIVE Network’s Privacy Policy governs.

All registration URLs that route through tantracking.com are ACTIVE Network affiliate tracking links. camp·it passes these links through to you unchanged and unmodified; ACTIVE Network handles all data processing associated with those links.

camp·it has no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or data collection of any third-party site. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

10. Email Communications (CAN-SPAM / CASL)

If you provide your email address to camp·it, you consent to receiving emails from us related to the service you requested. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (U.S.) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL / Bill C-28).

All marketing emails we send will:

You may unsubscribe from any camp·it marketing email at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at info@campit.ai. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional emails (such as a copy of your saved list that you explicitly requested).

Any promotional emails related to ACTIVE Network activities or the ACTIVE affiliate program will be identified as such. ACTIVE Network email communications are governed by ACTIVE Network’s own policies.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless camp·it, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of this Policy; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

To the extent camp·it participates in the ACTIVE Network affiliate program, camp·it agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ACTIVE Network, Inc. and its affiliates from claims arising from camp·it’s use of ACTIVE Network materials, data, or APIs in violation of the ACTIVE Network API Terms of Use or affiliate program agreement.

camp·it’s liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the Site is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to camp·it in the twelve months preceding the claim (which is $0 for free users). camp·it is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. No Guarantee of Availability

camp·it aggregates activity listings from multiple sources to help families discover programs. However:

camp·it provides the Site “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Site at any time without notice.
